Lowering shackles
I'm brand new to this site, and to the world of automobiles in general, so please be patient with me.
I have a 2000 C2500 (it's a custom ordered truck so it has the '98 body style but built in 2000), 2WD, Crew cab (4 full doors), with a 3" spindle drop in the front and re-arched leaf springs in the back.
As of now, the back end of the body is little higher than the front and I want to even it out, and was told about lowering shackles for the leaf springs. Just wondering what is a good brand to go with. I was also thinking about raising the front a little because I'm upgrading from 315/70/16 to 325/65/18 and not sure if the tire will rub or touch the inside of the front wheel well.
Any help would be appreciated, and if you need any more info, please let me know. Thanks
Bikram
