Pressed studs rocking out w/ hi lift cam?
Hello all,
I've been working on a cam swap for a while now (several snags), and have heard that i'm running the risk of pressed studs 'walking' themselves out. I'm sure eventually i should get a higher performance head with threaded studs, but for now do i need to worry about this or am i going to be fine?
Thanks!
Reid

We are going to put a ridiculous cam in with factory heads. So maybe i will have some stories here shortly. While we're on this topic, how catastrophic will this failure be? I can only imagine losing a rocker stud while driving could result in some complications.

My apologies, my unit was deployed for 10 days and i haven't been able to get the specs for you all. What i do know is they're bone stock 350 heads in a 92 c1500 so whatever size studs come in those will be used with the cam (291 lift).
