i think your only going to find stainless trim because of the corrosion problem and not being able to make the black powder coat stick for very long,i used to see it come off all the time on any tool boxes i saw it on .

better talk to a good body shop ,there is a special etching for most paints and prep .but if you check around there are places that do custom powder coating ,it is usually more durable when it comes to chips which you are going to get down there . i know that the eastwood company sells a powder coating kit.

ya i no . i was told to sand it down and and buy the special aluminum primer then paint it with a black vehicle paint, but i am second guessing beacuse i want it to last
