This is my first post on this forum - hopefully I'm in the right place. I've got a 1997 Silverado 1500, 4x4, V-8 that has a pretty substantial fuel leak which seems to come from just behind the engine. It only leaks when the engine is running and the tank is over half full. Any ideas? Is this something a novice might be able to fix?

 

make sure all the hoses are fastened correctly and in good condition. when the engine is on it create fuel pressur which may be forcing the gas outfrom a small hole in the hose
