I have a 01 2500HD 4x4 6.0. the thing has 179000 miles on it. oil pan is leaking and i want to know if any one out there has replaced one. i want to pull the pan to do it because i am considering replacing the conecting rod and main bearings. if i can get the pan off. i only want to do this because i hear a slight knock every now and then but i dont think it is anything just want to be safe. still have great oil pressure. so will i have to pull or lift the engine to do this if so is there any other options out there. or just slide the new gasket under in the pan and work that angle.
