03-2500 Auto Trans. display inop.
Hello and thankyou for reading. I am a VW tech. I have a friend with an 03 2500 full size pickup, he uses it for plowing. The display in the instrument cluster for the transmission (PRND12..) either is not illuminated or does not work at all. I have not check anything as of yet. Is there a possibility it could be anything else other than the instrument cluster itself. I don't know the engine size or the trans type off hand. just wondering if you have seen this before.
