I've got an 02 2500HD and I put aVera RamCobra cold air intakeand Magna Flow single side exit exhaust and that shot my power up but there isn't much you can do for MPG's as far as I know of. these trucks were really not meant to do very well. I get about 12 on the highway and 10.5 in town. I've heard from others that if you buy a power programmer for them that helps alittle but not by much. but the programmers do help with power too so its the best of both worlds. Hope this helps

Thanks for the input. i was thinkin about putting the AFE Stage 2 Cold Air Intake, a power programmer, electric fans, and possibly an exhaust. i figured with all of these add-ons it would help a few mpg's maybe jumping it up to 15mpg instead of 12 on the highway. wat are some good programmers?

well it kinda depends on what you are looking for. Are you looking from one that mounts on the dash that you can manage all aspects of the motor and change on the fly or will a simple plugin a take out work just as well.I know Hypertech make a couple and Bully Dog even has one for the 6.0L. But everyone on here seems to be suggesting one from Diablo Sport. I asked the same question on here and one guy told me about one that Diablo is coming out with around Feb. Here's the link

Personally I prefer one that I can mount and change on the fly because I also like to monitor everything on my truck. plus they look cool. but like I said its all about what you want and what makes more sense for you to buy. I'll prob end up buying the new Trinity that is coming out in Feb.
