03 4l60e slipping in second. help...

all 4l60 i do i ses a kit for 01 up they use molded pistons in the 3-4 drum i make my 3-4 clutch clearence about 10-20 thousands a new sun gear shell and a wide sun gear bushing i remove the wave plate in the foward clutch and add a extra fiction have to use diffrent thickness clutches for proper clearence same in the rev input drum i ony use a wide red lined band and vette servo with the big snap ring removed and a 29 element sprag i use a sonnax .490 pressure regulare valve with a .62 hole drilled in the bottom feed hole and the lock up valves as far as the vb i us a trans go plate with remove the 3-4 accumulator spring replace it with washers bring the piston flush in lage the feed holes for the 1-2 and2-3 to .93 and the fwd and rev to .125 i use a sonnax tcc regulator vave new shift solenoids and wiring harness and turn epc solenoid screw 1/4 trun i use the stock 1-2 accumlator springs that came in the unit unless its a modded vehical this combo will make very quick shifts with out harsh hitting ive had verry good sucess with that with out any warrenty claims knock on wood since use theses mods lot of trial and error to come up with this combo for hd application only diffrent mods are z pac clutches and a heavyer 1-2 acc spring and billit servo

That's pretty similar to mine. I kno he used a trans go shift kit and the sun shell set up. Along with sonax valves and all. He also changed the 2nd gear drum and a few other things. I'll have to get a detailed list of wat he did. But I had mine for 4 weeks after it was built and then mysteriously lost 3rd and 4th gear. It would start to shift into 3rd and just fall into like neutral unless I ran 2nd over 3500 rpm then it would shift fine. Have u heard of such a thing before?

Did you ever find out the cause? I just bought an 06 Sierra a month ago and its been driving perfect until tonight on my way home from work. Now its doing this exact same thing. Just seems weird that 12 hours ago it was flawless and now its totally hooped.
