Hey all, I have a 04 silverado 1500 and Im trying to find out where the flasher unit is located. My signals and hazards are not working at all. every once in a while they will come back on for a short period but then fail to work again. I think if I replace the flasher unit that should fix the problem

 

I just checked mine. Open the driver side door, on the side of the dash is a removable panel, (just pulls off). Near the front of it is a rectangular silver plug in. With my signal working that feels like it is clicking. It does not show up on the fuse diagram, I guess because it is not a fuse. I do not have an owners manual. Do you? Hope this helps.
