'04 Silverado and Proble with Shocks
Have a '04 Silverado <nobr style="font-weight: normal; font-size: 100%; color: darkgreen;" id="itxt_nobr_0_0"></nobr>with about 48 thousand miles and shocks are gone.....
Was under truck other day and the front shocks have a Delphi code TSYS24 (maybe its TSY524) and rear shocks have a Delphi code of TZJ805...
They are 'electric" ride control shocks that are controlled by push button switch on dash.... Never seemed to work but that is another issue...
Any way, what have I got, there seems to be a hint that they are part of a ZX3 package but I have not been able conform this as there does not seem to be any obvious indicators on truck what ZX3 package may be....
I have hunch these shocks are a very expensive "package" to replace.... I am seriously considering abandoning the "ride control" feature and just putting a simple gas shock on in its place....
Any thoughts, comments or links to information would be appreciated...
