06 silverado trans question plz help

Default 06 silverado trans question plz help

i have a standard cab 06 silverado with a 4.8 and 4l60e trans .the truck has 67k miles .when i press the gas pedal like when im passing some one i cant get the trans to kick down even if i push the pedal to the floor ,but if i shift it on the coloum it down shifts fine . the fluid is in excellent shape the trans does nothing weird shifts smooth and down shifts smoth just under hard accelerating cant get it to down shift unless i shift it on the colum any advice is appreciated not sure if its electrical dont know were to start

Is this a regular or intermittent occurrence? Are you receiving any warning lights?

regular occurrence . no warning lights the only light is on is the air bag some one stole them .

Someone stole your airbags? I recommend you consult with a certified technician. They will be able to offer additional information after inspecting the vehicle. I would also recommend having the airbags replaced.
