Have an '06 silverado 2500hd with duramax & allison - no mods - have a tranny hose leaking where the metal is pressed on the rubber hose coming from the bottom connection on radiator about 1/2 way back to tranny. dealer has had hose on backorder for 4 months. does anyone know where i can get one?

 

Look in the phone book for places that make custom hoses or the oil field and other industries. They can make you one in no time.

 

i have had very good luck with cutting off the metal crimp and putting on a hose clamp. MUCH cheaper, 100% fix, no waiting for parts. just be careful when you cut the crimp off that you don't cut the hose
