I own a 08' Chevy Silverado 2500HD LT, a few weeks ago my driver side front door latch stoped working. It will only lock/unlock by hand or key only, the fob or inside buttons won't work. All other three doors work fine. I checked the fuses and everything was good. Yesterday I replaced the latch with a new OEM part and it still won't work. I doubled and triple checked my work and wiring everything seems right. Any ideas on what the problem could be? I tried looking online but all I get is how to replace the latch nothing on if that doesn't work. Thanks in advance.

 

Welcome to the forum. When you try to lock or unlock it with the fob do you hear a click inside the door? It could be the wiring to the actuator which you changed with the latch.

 

No sounds at all, lock/unlock. I'll have to test the wiring.
