My rear door won't unlock unless I flicker the unlock switch about 100 times, then it does. No, my key doesn't work. Could this be an issue with the rear lock? The handle does stick. Thanks.

I have the same problem on my 98 venture, but now I can't even open the door anymore... keyless entry doesn't work and my key lock is broken...

 

Same here. The original problem was that the latch wasn't latching. It was stuck open and the door wouldn't stay shut. Then someone else tried to "fix" it, decided it couldn't be fixed, and managed to get the latch to latch one last time and then shut the door. The handle is totally non-functional now, and using the key doesn't do anything. (This is not my van.)

How can I get the latch to release when the handle doesn't work?
