ok my 4x4 went out on me.... k i have the 1989 silverado C1500 4x4.. i thought my actuator was bad i changed it still dont work i checked all of my wires all connected i have plently of power at fuse box and at the front axle the actuator plug in has no power to it at all.. again all wires are hooked up... do i have a relay that might have burned out??? i did take a computer thing off when i took the TBI off.. thank you for the help

 

Check the fuse, Replace the relay with the horn relay, then try it out.

 

the fuse is a 10 amp and its good.. wheres this relay at??

 

man 89 your truck sounds like mine!!(has a lot of problems lol) its a wonder we are still die hard chevy truck fans lol
