hey guys, this is a very cool site. I bought my dads 1976 C10 2wd that he bought new. I dropped in a 400ci and 410 gears and it really came to life. I want to lower it with out using air bags. how low can I go? I found a lowering kit that drops it 3" in the front with spindals and 4" in the rear with springs and shakles. Is that the lowest I can go with the stock wheels and tires?

i have seen 8" in the front and 6" in the rear ("C" notch in the frame at the rear of course) the front is done by 4" springs and 4" spindles and the back is by 4" springs and 2" shackles
