Hello,
New to the forum. I am looking to purchase a 1986 K10 Silverado Sportside. The rear fenders are rotted along the seam to the bed. Anyone know of replacements, preferably new. I have been able to find all other body parts except for the rear fenders.I am also interested in converting from the 5liter V8 to a 350. Easy or difficult. Worth it? Truck is auto. Any and all help would be appreciated.

 

any help at all..... There has to be someoneout there with the same truck or problem or adivice

 

Swapping the 5.0 out for the 5.7 is a breeze but may not be worth it unless the 5.0 is old and lazy; you have to make that call.
The 5.7 is noticeably more powerful.

 

yeah, i think the 5.0 engines are junk to a 5.7 but its ur call
