1988 2500 p/u heater core

Heater core started dumping coolant on the floor today. How much fun am I in for while replacing it? It has a/c, does that come into play.

Easy fix once I removed all the extra junk that somebody previously rigged in there. They had copper tubing going through the firewall & heater hose in the cab. Stock core went in rather easy.
