1993 chevy pickup cant get spark
I am working on a 1993 Silverado I have replaced the whole distributor cap an rotor. I am getting spark from the coil to the capbut for some reason I am not getting any spark from the distributor to the plugs. I was told that u have to unplug the wires to the distributor an set the time to zero an then plug it back up an it should advance the timing. I am so stumped on this because when I put the new distributor in the truck it started right up an ran perfect for about two minutes an then it just died an now it wont start again. If anyone has any ideas on this it would be great.
With ignition key on check for 12 volts going to Dist. If that is good and you are sure no spark is going to any plug than change your ignition module
This also could be something as simple as a bad ground somewhere
