Hello,
I'm looking for some direction on what could be wrong with my transmission its a 95 chevy with a trans out of a 96 which I just installed I also swapped the valve bodies because the one was messed up. After installation the trans worked good beside no overdrive now after driving a few days reverse has stopped working as well, when you go in reverse you really have to rev it to get it to go anywhere. Any ideas on what it could be?

Get the truck to a mechanic who knows what he's doing on transmissions; It's got to come out and be rebuilt.

Are you sure thats what it could be? I put it up in the air an when I put it in reverse the wheels will start to turn a little bit but as soon as you gas it they stop like the breaks were applied.
