Hi Guys,

I experience two problems with my truck:
- hard start
- stalling on full throttle with high revs

I suspected lift pump so I ran a T-valve test - after opening it with enging idling, it died after 3-4 seconds. Lift pump or OPS, isn't it?

Is it possible that is causes hard start as well?

have you tried a basic tune up. Fuel filter will cause both of those problem. Sparkplugs will to. A bad injector will cause it too.

 

Glowplugs in a diesel

 

Brand new fuel filter applied two weeks ago.

I don't know about injectors, will try to check them.

Glowplugs might be a problem with hard start and I am going to check them out, but they should not have any effect while the engine is running.
