Hey guys, this is my first post here!
I recently got a 95 Silverado 2500 w/5.7lt, 4x4 auto trans. It has 229k on it. Well taken care of, but I am having a problem with the A/C. It blows plenty cold when it works, but it works intermittently. The air seems to move from vent to vent and sometimes stops blowing all together. The blower does not shut off though, it just sounds like a damper is closing and not letting the air in the cab. Sometimes the air will go from cold to hot for 15 or 20 minutes, like the compressor isn't coming on. This may be two seperate issues, I don't know. The fan speed selector, mode selector and temp selector all seems to work fine. It just acts like my 2 year old is sitting there turning the mode selector every few seconds.
