Can anyone tell me if 1996 Silverado came with OEM gas shocks? I recently replaced my shocks with Monroe supposed to be OEM equivalent. Rides rough. Not like it used to.
Any recommendations to get better ride? Thanks.

You can spend a lot more for shocks, but you will still be driving a pickup, which one should expect to ride like a lesser vehicle or a car. I beat the s**T out of Monroe's on
my old Jeep and they never leaked.
