Default 1999 Silverado newer body style insturment cluster Problem

I seem to be having issues with my cluster in my 99' step side. I was driving down the road in cruise control and all of a sudden my battery light in message center came on, my cruise quit, my gas gauge quit, my temp gauge quit and my mileage/gear indication quit.

I have since tried to replace battery with a red top and checked all grounds. I even took off the paint where the ground goes to the front support to have a better connection.

I have messed around with the ignition switch by wiggling it around in off mode and start while engine is running and nothing happened.

Would this still be a grounding issue, ignition switch issue or cluster issue?

I really don't wanna start replacing stuff just guessing at it and it don't fix the issue.

What are your thoughts on this issue?

Thanks,
Billy

Get a buddies cluster and put it in, make sure it's a 99-02 though. If it doesn't do it with a different cluster in there then your old cluster needs to be replaced. Common gm problem.

Sad thing is, I don't have any friends with this year truck.

Anyone in the Texas area have one I could borrow or buy?

I don't see that you checked the fuses. Start with that.

I checked all fuses in the box under the hood. Are there anymore else where? All checked out.

There is another fuse box in the dash on the drivers side.
