i have a 2000 c2500 silverado 2wd 7.4L. the fuel pump in it is going out. has trouble starting and gas gauge does not work. im trying to order a new pump but i do not know if my pump has 1 or 2 electrical connectors. if anyone could tell me how many or how to find out how many without dropping the entire tank i would appreciate it please thank you.

 

The dealer can tell which pump you need with the vin number. I don't know if parts stores can do that or not. If you plan on keeping the truck, then get either a Delco or Delphi pump. Don't waste the time or money on a cheap aftermarket pump.
