What kind of problems do these truck trucks see when they hit 360,000 kms (220,000 miles)? It has had all this done to it recently: new brake pads, ball joints, shocks, rear seals and u joints, axle bearings and seals. Also has heated leather. Thanks.

 

my grandpas has over 300,000 miles and runs perfect.
just do the preventative maintenance stuff, regular fluid changes and the
truck will keep on giving. over 200,000 miles I'd say nothing Silverado specific,
but more along the lines of something that would go out on any vehicle like shocks/struts,
things that just don't last forever.
They are good trucks though. I know members who keep records of reparis such as myself
have listed things that have gone out at X miles, use of the search function should yield some results

 

my truck has 240k miles on it runs fine doesnt idle rough or any problems
i do change
oil filter every 3k miles(15w 40 rotela wix filter)
air filter every 10k miles
fuel filter every 30k miles
spark plugs every 90-100k miles(acdelco plugs)

and it all works fine

 

It's just broken in! My father has a 91 Chevy Silverado with 240,000 miles and he beats the crap out of it. He doesn't like maintenance, so I'm practically sneaking out at night to change the oil(s). I think his last engine oil change was 3K miles overdue. It runs fine still after all the abuse and I bet it'll see 300,000 miles.
