why do you want to do this? There are many rims in 6 lug that look great. You would also have to carry 2 spares, one 5 lug and one 6 lug!

Even with junkyard parts, the price of the parts + new upper and lower ball joints + new axle seals + new cover gasket and diff fluid + the price of the rims you want = enough money to have a custom set made for your 6 lug. There has got to be at least 100 different wheels out there for 6 lug trucks and you can only find 1 that you like?

You only talked about changing the rear axle and did not mention the front. I was wrong but I thought you were only doing the rear.

The swapped rear axle would need a 5 lug spare, and the front would need a 6 lug spare.

I would keep looking and find a 6 lug wheel that I like that fits.

Default Swap axles

I've got a 4WD 2001 Silverado 5-lug entire rear axle that I'll swap for your 6-lug. We can check rear end ratios, drive shaft angles ,etc. if you want to swap.

Sorry. I screwed up. My rear axle's a 6-lug. I was looking to get a HD rear axle on my K1500.
