Default 2000 silverado....33's ???

2000 silverado, +2" rough country levelling kit up front with +2" bilstein shocks, airbags in the rear with +1" bilstein shocks. I currently have 265/75/16 tires on oem rims, I was previously going to put on 285/75/16, but I am now wondering if I can put on 33x12.5x(16-18) wheels. I have read posts that people have installed this tire on this exact truck with only a levelling kit...is this true? Also, stock back spacing is around 5 3/8" for this truck and +29mm offset on a 7" wide rim. If I go to a 18x8 or 18x9, what backspacing and offset would work. I do not care if the tires stick out alot, I am also thinking of installing fender flares. I prefer the look of these tires, as they look more meaty than the 285's. If anyone is running a setup like this, please let me know what you have. I plan on ordering tires and rims online, and do not want to return them. Thanks.

I have this exact setup on my 01. 2.5 inch ready lift levelin kit with bilsteins in front and back...yes you can make them fit but done get too much of a negative offset to push the tires out. I have a -12 and I rub at full turns to the left so keep a small positive or small negative offset ad they'll fit. I'm not sure what the backspacing is though. just check out some pictures. my tires stick out a little due to the -12 offset

country_09, what make of rim do you have on your truck. Also, where exactly are your tires rubbing? Are they rubbing on your bumper, or inside the fender well on the steering or suspension components? I was thinking of getting 0mm offset wheels, I wonder if they would work out alright. Also, if you have a link, or some pics of your truck, I wold like to check out your setup. Thanks again.

I have the xd series badlands made by kmc wheels. they have a bunch of great lookin rims. and I had to do a little trimmin on the plastic panel for the front of the tire and it clears that now but rubs full tilt to the left on the backside(close to the driver door) and only this side. 0mm should be just fine since they won't stick out as much as mine and if you click my name on here or the picture you can look at more pictures of my truck. I have quite a few so go ahead
