Default 2000 silverado noise

The last couple of days,I can hear a strange clicking noise coming from under the truck, but only during acceleration. It almost sounds like pebbles hitting the bottom of the truck.Im thinking maybe the cat has gone bad.Any thoughts would be apprecited.

That makes me think u-joints. I ahve a weird rattle noise in my truck when flooring it above 4,000RPM. Can't tell if its my toolbox, somethin in the door, or if its jsut vibration from my loud exhaust.

How does the cat go bad on a 04, the one on my 89 was original in 04, with 290,000 miles.
