Truck is 6L, 4 door, 4WD, automatic. Starts and runs fine. After driving for 10 - 12 miles it will sputter and die. After waiting for 3 or 4 minutes, it will start and run fine for a few minutes and die again. I've tried dry gas, cleaning the battery cables, and cleaning the throttle body. The one goofy thing I noticed is that when it dies the shifter position indicator says the truck is 2nd gear no matter where the shift lever is positioned. When it decides it's going to start the indicator will move back to park.

Any ideas?
