i bought a bully dog power pup from a friend and when i hook it up to my truck it comes up with his vin number and says mismatch. how do i get it so it works on my pickup? Help PLZ

 

most programmers pull the factory programming from the truck then add the tuner programming to the truck.

You can only use it on one vehicle at a time. You would have to put the oem programming back to your friends truck, withdraw the tuner programming back to the tuner. You could now pull the factory programming from your truck and install the tuner program.
