Security light finnally gone but still starts and dies, advice please, delt with intermittent start and dien for few years, eventually caught my attention that i could tell if the truck was gonna start before it even cranked because when turned key to on my volt gauge would start to read normal, but when its not gonna run the volt gauge just stays dead when key is turned the engine starts and dies???? Im soooo fed up. I dont have any certifations but ive always had a passion for engines and working on cars. I could really use some direction, i would greatly appreciate if someone knowledgeable could spend some time helping trouble shoot this head scratcher this is my family's only transportation and i dont have money to take it to a shop,
