One of our chevy's (2004 2500 HD 2WD) is having trouble going at first. When i start the engine the first time of the day and press the gas as i normally would, the truck does nothing for a while and then goes. Im not doing any hurried start and go, its just as anybody would start it. This is on my Dads truck. Any suggestions as to what it may be would be great!

 

I'd take it to a transmission shop and get it checked out. It may be due for a rebuild.

 

it still seems to run clean and true though and it only acts up when its cold. But then im not the best transmission mechanic. we may end up doin that soon
