Hello,

I have 2006 Chevy Trailblazer EXT V6 (Vortex) with 193,xxx miles. For some time now whenever I get fuel regardless if I fill it up or only a few gallons it hesitates to start and is now getting worse. I've tried different gas stations in case it was bad gas but no luck. I tried waiting several minutes before starting it and the same thing. My float stopped working long before I started having this problem and I got a new fuel pump about 3 months ago, still the same problem. And someone recently put a new solenoid switch on about a month ago, but it is still doing the same thing. Everyone I ask say they haven't heard that happening before and I don't have money to keep trying things that aren't working nor am I ready to get into another car payment. Any suggestions to get rid of this problem are welcomed.

 

A stuck open purge solenoid can cause this. Is that what you replaced? Is the cel on?

 

Unfortunately, I know little about vehicle repair and can only go by what the mechanic told me he did which was to replace the solenoid gasket (I think that's what he called it) but this did not work either.

 

My 06 did the same thig i changed the purge valve and its never done it since
