Your cargo light is controlled by a button on the dash. It does not come on when you put the truck in reverse. I'd have to check mine, but I'm fairly certain that it does not come on with your keyless entry either. It is just that, a cargo light controlled by a separate button on the dash.

grumpy i think you're right. i must be going senile. i could have sworn that the cargo lights came on when you pressed the unlock button on the remote.
all of my lights are fine. duh?
