Got my speakers in. They sound good.
I did notice the factory rears said 8 ohms on the back. The 4x6's I installed are 4 ohms. Hope that's not an issue. Most if not all the 4 x 6 replacements on Crutchfield are 4 ohms.

do you have an aftermarket deck or stock? if its aftermarket your speakers should be fine.

Crutchfield tech support says they will be fine. Stated they have had no issue running 4 ohm speakers in replacement of the GM's 8 ohm rear speakers with the factory deck. Also claimed that Infinity has some 2 ohm speakers that work fine with the GM factory deck.
Hope he's right. I hate to fry my deck.

I just found a set of JVC for $20 shipped. I pulled the trigger, hopefully they will do the job. I just need a replacement for the front set for now. I plan on adding a 4channel amp and better speakers later down the road. Just need the tunes for now
