I have a 2007 Silverado, 5.3L, approx. 190,000. It has started to idle VERY rough and the transmission shifting from 1st to second slams like it has a shift kit. Both problems started at the same time, after the truck was overfilled with oil by about 2 quarts. I am having emission codes also, can't remember the exact code but it is related to purge or vent solenoid problems. I am thinking this is like a massive vacuum leak causing these problems??? What emission component would cause this? Anyone else run into this problem? Suggestions??
