Default 2007 silverado=junk

ive been a chevy man since i turned 16. i got my 2007 silverado in january of 2008. since i bought this truck it has been nothing but a peice of crap!!
ive had it in the dealership 7 times for the rearend locking up when i turn and 5 times for a problem with the tail shaft which causes a popping noise and a lunge forward when you stop. i opened up a case with the BBB in april of 2008, but since i didnt buy it new (it had 7000 miles on it) and the one year time frame had expired GM wants to do nothing about the problem. after this truck i will never own another GM rpoduct over again. i glad that GM takes great care of their customers!!! NOT!!!!!!!

I take it you have the g80 rearend, I've heard those are crap. I'd say your still coming out better than you would with a Ford.

From what I've read it's still spider gears. i could be wrong. Is it a NNBS Chevy, I think 07 was a bad year with the new body style. I've had a few issues myself and i bought mine brand new.

Im honestly not surprised. I think my 6l90e will hold up. But sometimes it acts a lil funny. I floored it the other day, and it felt like a stickshift feels with the clutch slipping. I got sick to my stomach. I've burnt up a total of 14 transmissions before I was 20. But I'm hoping for the best.
