Recently heard a squeak/clicking sound; isolated it to first cylinder rocker arm. Replaced rocker arm, noise went away for 4 days, then reappeared. Replaced rocker arm again, noise persists.

Any ideas?

Did you adjust it properly? Too tight and no oil will pump thru the push rod from the lifter to lube the rocker!!! Did you lube it good when you installed it? If it's "squeaking", it sounds like no oil!!!!

 

if not rocker arm, probably lifter.
