Default 2007 Silverado Sound problem

I have a 2007 Silverado that has issues with sound. At first I thought it was a speaker issue but the door, seat belt and key chimes also sound off as if the speakers are blown.

Does al of the sound items come through the speakers or another central part of the truck?

It sounds terrible.

Thanks

Hi Extraduty, I have the same problem. At the moment the only speakers working in my truck are the high mounted tweeters. The main door speakers work intermittently.
I am hopeing that before the weekend is over I will take it apart and see where the problem is. I suspect that the wiring from the head unit to the door speakers is broken in the flex tube between the doors and body.
later
Anyhow just somthing else to do on a long list; as soon as I find out I will post what I find.
p.s. yes the door chimes/alerts etc work through the drivers side front door speaker.
