hey guys i am trying to ibnstall a trailer brake controller on my 2007 siklverado vortec max crew cab..new body style.. my 05 silverado came with a fuse plug the adapter and a pig tail for the trailer hitch.. does anybody know were and which one ones the wires are to install a brake controller or should i just get the factory brake controller and the harness and plug might be behind the dash..lol thanks anthony c..

 

what ever make you brake control is ,they make a plug in adaptor if it is the classic body style ,but you better check the owner's manual it will give a good idea what you have to do and where to look .new body style has the bow tie emblem on the tail gate ,if it is you might have to just hard wire a stub harness sticking out under the dash !
