Is it possible to get 4 wheel disc brakes on the 2007 chevy vortec max without getting the max trailering package?

 

Yes it is, but you have to order Stabilitrak JL4. Look at NADA bood and read under the 6.0 engine.

I am not sure about the trailering package or the 4 wheel disk brake,. I know that mine comes with it. I have a 2007 VortecMax and i am still learning about it.I do have StabiliTrak also.

To make things simple the JD9 option (4-wheel ABS and 4-Wheel Disc brake) is included along with JL4 (Stabilitrak) when the the L76 (6.0L Vortec Max) option is ordered.

Meaning simply that you cannot get a 6.0L 1500 Silverado without Stabilitrak or rear Disc Brakes.

 

I do have a 6.0 Vortec MAXSilverado without disc brakes on the rear. When my dealer ordered the truck heforgot to order StabiliTrak and the truck came in with rear drum brakes. If you want the 6.0 order the StabiliTrak.

I should clarify that on Crew Cab trucks you can't get the Vortec Max without Rear Disc Brakes but on Extended Cab models you can.

Sometimes I forget to check spec on the Ext Cab's due to the market on Crew's.
