2008 OEM Bluetooth, Navtraffic, & Back up camera updates
I have a 2008 Silverado w/ Nav and XM radio and I want to install the factory Bluetooth, Navtraffic, & Back up camera that are available on the 2009 Silverado. Has anyone done this yet and if so what are the part #'s that I need? I have the last 8 digits of the vin from a 2009 that is still on a lot that has these options in case anyone has the ability to look it up. The vin is 9F107821.

I also have an 2007 Suburban with OEM Nav and rear camera and I want to add Bluetooth and XM Navtraffic.
The rear camera parts are on this forum in another thread.
I found out that OEM Bluetooth on the 2009 GM models is in the OnStar Gen 8.0 hardware.

I too need to find out how to get the XM Navtraffic....software flash or hardware upgrade?

I also want to do this in my 2007 Chevy Silverado 1500. Do you know what the model number is for an XM module with NavTraffic, I think read somewhere else in the forum it was called UBS.

Replacing VCIM to add Bluetooth - 2007 Silverado with Favory Nav
I recently swapped my VCIM for model number 20787107 on my 2007 Silverado with factory NAV. I purchased it new on Ebay for $250 including the antenna. Installation was fairly easy and everything worked! I did, however, lose my OnStar capabilities, which is fine by me and the light on the mirror is now red. I haven't even called OnStar to resync it because I am not a subscriber. I hold down the call button for 2 seconds on my steering wheel, when prompted I say OnStar and it takes me to the OnStar menu where I was successfully able to pair my phone with the information provided in the DIC screen.
