When the truck is started the stereo comes on full blast. Might do it for only one start and might go for 20?! Any ideas?

Thanks Patsy G, but I tried when still on warranty and was asked if was intermittent, when I answered yes was told that if they couldn't find anything wrong Id be charged for their time.

 

that bs...when its under warranty there is never a charge regardless if a fault is found or not. You probably need a new radio.
