Hugh, what are you asking? If your asking what bulb is illuminated by the Daytime Running Light system, it is the high beam bulbs at a lower amperage then when you turn on the high beams.
Is this what you were asking?
Is this what you were asking?
ericnottelin, yes thats what i was asking.... however i just replaced the low beams with hids and the drl system activated those, not the high beams at a lower amperage in which i had thought...
oh well, ill see how it goes having the hids on all the time, or ill pull the drl fuse. i wish there was a way to re wire the drl system to do the high beams at a lower amperage. im going to see if i can get my hands on a chilton or something with a wiring diagram on it.

I wouldn't waste your time. I purposely yanked the fuses for the DRLs to disable the system. You probably spent good money on those HID systems. You are just wasting the life of the HIDs (both the bulbs and ballasts) running throughout the day time.
To disable the DRL, you have to yank BOTH fuses.
Good luck and I hope this helps
Eric
