Default 2009 Rear View Camera

Has anyone seen one of these? I looked in the new Silverado booklet & they talk about it, but the don't show where the camera is. None of the dealers around here have a clue, and I was wondering if it's in the tailgate handle like the Aval. ? If it is in the handle can they be switched out with a 2007 NBS? I have a rear view in my truck, but it's in a hole below the tailgate. I can see behind me but it is to low to be alot of help hooking my trailers up!

The camera is in the tailgate handle bezel. There is a part number for a kit, but it is not yet available.

Yes there is a kit for this now. I was going to buy the individual pieces. The part number is 19172557. The retail is $999, Gmpartsdirect is about $740, and the dealer price from GM is around $770. It is the stock OEM camera, harness, bezel, replacement mirror, and everything else you will need to put the stock read view camera in a silverado.

Default Back Up Camera Rear View Mirror Picture

This is what the back up monitor on the rear view camera looks like when you don't have a nav system installed. I am still going over the specs before I install it, since it requires some drilling into the sheet metal.
