Need some help. While changing my oil, I noticed this leak coming from around where the head gasket is and on one nut on the oil pan gasket. I took it in to a dealership today, was told by the assistant manager, it was seeping, not leaking and that he needed the service manager to look at it when he got back from lunch in an hour. (where i live in florida, the closest Dealership is 45 miles away). I had to get back to work, and i didn't like where this guy was taking it, so i am taking it in to another, bigger, higher rated dealership sat morning. Seeping...is leaking. and eventually the gasket will fail. I have 99000 miles on her, I change my oil every 5000 with mobil one synthetic. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

No sign of white sludge,
No sign of coolant leak

 

Yeah you are doing everything right, but as far as the leak. I have heard that the v-6 had a problem with the oil pan gasket. My buddy has a 2010 v-6 and he had to bring it in for that and when he was at the dealership, the mechanic said he has been seeing a lot these trucks having oil pan gasket leaks.
