Default 2011 2500LT 4x4 crew cab 6'6" bed

Just took possesion of truck on 11/10/10 I've noticed almost since day one the seal on the transfer case for the rear driveshaft has been dripping fluid. Leaves a wet spot (not a puddle) about 2" to 3" across everytime I park it after it's been driven even a short distance. I'm I being picky I don't think at this point it should leak at all. Any opinions?

Bring it back since its a 2011. Tell the service tech what is going on. There should not be any wet spots anywhere.

Angry same truck same problem

Thats weird. I have the exact same 2011 2500HD 4x4 crewcab with the exact same problem. I took it to dealer and heres what the problem was.
Transfer case leaking at motor actuator seal and seal missing at speed sensor. well both seals replaced and fluid topped off road tested 4x4 operation.
WTF still seeing a slight drip . Any ideas about what to do?

Default Leak repaired

Made an appointment to take my truck back to Sunrise Chevy in Glendale Heights, Il. (Where I bought it) to check the leak. Mechanic agreed that the seal was leaking and if I wanted, they could fix it immediately and it would be done in 1 1/2 hours. I told him I had too much to do and couldn't sit in the waiting area for that long so they offered to have their driver give me a ride home (20 minutes away) and they'd call me when it's done. In less than 2 hrs they called and said my truck was done and I could pick it up. It appears the leak has been fixed. I'll keep an eye on it to be sure. Sunrise did everything they could to make it as easy on me as possible. Great place

Can you tell me if this problem is with a 6 liter gas or diesel? I have a 2011 with a 6 liter and have not had a problems as of yet however, mine only has 1200 miles so far. Thanks
