hey guys i recently purchased a 2012 regular cab 1500 with the 5.3l engine and im going to put a performance muffler,just the muffler only, on soon and was just wondering what you guys think is the best and how it deals with the AFM system. thanks

Not many muffles sound good with the afm to be honest. I'd say do magnaflow but the exhaust note will change and not sound the greatest

im going to either get the flowmaster 40 or magnaflow 18" would the magnaflow be a better sounding muffler?

14" if you want it a lil more loud, 18" is a lil bit more tamed, and then the 22" is almost stock exhaust soundin at idle. None of them are really "loud" but they're very noticeable. Stock truck, I'd go 14". I went 18" but that's because I have Longtube headers and no cats so it's just as loud as a 14" on a stock truck.
