Greeting from Canada,

Got my new 2014 Silverado last February for my 50th birthday...anyhoo, I noticed some weird things happening with the climate control.
1) as soon as I turn on the heat, the A/C turn on and it's -25 Celsius (-13 F)outside.
2) when the system is off, air still blows out of the vents

Is there anyone here who has had this experience?

Press the recycle button to stop outside air when the system is off. If the heater is on with say front Window defrost the ac compressed will pull moister out of the system.

 

I see what you are saying but the problem is that the A/C doesn't shut off....ever, until I press the A/C button to turn it off.
